Hanover and the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) are proud to be working on the development of the first Education First Youth Foyers in Victoria. The Education First Youth Foyers are the first of their kind in Victoria. About the Holmesglen Foyer

The Holmesglen Foyer is based at Holmesglen Institute of TAFE’s Waverley campus. It is for young people aged 16-24 years old who want to study but can’t live at home. With education at the heart of everything at the Youth Foyer, the program is for young people who are motivated to study and work.

There are no current vacancies at the Holmesglen Foyer. If you would like to discuss a potential student , Please contact the Foyer manager or Team Leader on 03 9564 6488 prior to completing the Readiness Form.

If you would like to apply to live in the Foyer, please fill out the Readiness Form here. You can fill this form out by yourself and send it to us, or fill it out with someone you trust. (You can send this out online by typing onto the pdf and emailing it to us, or print it out and fill it in manually).

About the Kangan Foyer

The Education First Youth Foyer at Kangan Institute will support 40 students at the Broadmeadows campus.

The Youth Foyer will provide:

  • access to education, training and employment services,
  • an opportunity to develop independent living skills,
  • a safe, secure and affordable place to live while they study, and
  • support from trained staff.
