Student placements

Hanover regularly provides opportunities for Students through student placements. Our aim is to enable the student to gain an understanding of our work, and the needs, issues and systematic implications of our clients.

Work with our clients is often a focus of student placements, but is not always possible, and specific tasks as part of the placement are negotiated once it commences.  We put effort into including students by ‘shadowing’ caseworkers where possible.

We currently do not have any placement opportunities.

How to apply

If you are interested in fulfilling a student placement with us, please email Anna Gigliotti at students@hanover.org.au. Please provide the details of your Course requirements, your level of study, at least one referee and a current resume.

Please also note that all students are required to have s satisfactory Working With Children Check and a National Police Check before commencing any placement. As there is a high demand for placements and we can only take a limited numbers of students across our sites, please try and apply well in advance.
