Working at Hanover
Hanover offers a flexible workplace, with access to a wide range of paid and unpaid leave and alternative work arrangements. These range from part time work, five weeks leave (including 4 weeks annual leave), purchased leave (up to two extra weeks per annum), 8 weeks paid parental leave and flexible work hours.
Hanover staff are eligible for Salary Packaging Arrangements provided for Community organisations under taxation legislation. This allows staff to use some of their pre-tax income to pay expenses such as rent, mortgage or credit card repayments. This tax saving can increase your take home pay significantly. To read more about how salary packaging works go to www.salary.com.au.
We provide Salary Continuance insurance to eligible employees, this helps to provide continued financial support to staff who become seriously ill or disabled for extended periods.
Our Collective Agreement provides above-Award wages and conditions, with annual salary increases awarded. Click here to view our Collective Agreement, and here to view the Hanover Practitioner Scale (pay scales).
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offered to Hanover staff, volunteers and their immediate families or household. The EAP is a free, confidential counselling service which can assist in dealing with difficult personal or work-related issues.
