Innovative services and programs
Hanover works with people at the earliest stage possible to prevent them from becoming homeless. We place a high value on early intervention and preventative work to assist people before they need crisis support.
Through programs such as our Family Focus service, Hanover is able to successfully assist people in maintaining their accommodation through times of financial pressure.
Our programs deliver assistance for people at risk of losing their accommodation by helping to stabilise their financial circumstances, providing material aid, improving education and employment opportunities, social and community participation and health circumstances.
Hanover intends to continue to develop further programs and services that identify areas to intervene earlier with people and families in crisis. It is Hanover’s way to specifically target the prevention of homelessness in the first place. The idea is for individuals and families to retain their homes.
