Get involved

We couldn’t provide our services without the generous support of people across Victoria who donate their time and money.

If you’d like to support Hanover, there are lots of ways that you can get involved.

Fundraise for us

If  you’d like to fundraise for us either individually or as part of a group, we’d love to hear from you. There are lots of ways you can support our work.

A great resource for people who want to fundraise for Hanover is the Everyday Hero website. You can be a hero by building your own personal fundraising page. It only takes a few minutes to build and email to all of your contacts. For more information and to get started, click here. If you’re participating in events like Run Melbourne, or City2Sea, you can register to fundraise for Hanover using the Everyday Hero website.

Make a donation

We rely on the generosity of people who donate to us. By making a donation today you help ensure that Hanover continues to support thousands of people who experience homelessness every year.

Whether you want to donate a one off amount, pledge on a regular basis, leave a bequest or make a gift in kind donation, every dollar makes a difference.

Become a corporate partner

We’re always keen to partner with organisations who want to support their local community. Whether you’d like to send your staff to one of our sites to volunteer for a day, or if you like to set up workplace giving, we’d love to hear from you.

Make a material donation

A great way to help support Hanover’s work is by donating items we all use on a day to day basis. Often our clients arrive at Hanover with very little, so donating items such as the following is a great way to help:

  • Essential toiletries including toothpaste, shower gel, sunscreen
  • Toys and books for the children we support, especially during the festive season
  • School stationery
  • Vouchers for popular high street retailers or cinemas
  • Non perishable food items

Unfortunately we have limited storage space, and we are not able to offer a pick up service so if you’re thinking of making a donation, please give our Community Relations team a call first on 1800 720 660.
